Can you hear the beating?
A million drums at once
All beating to the same tune
All in sync at once
They never miss a beat
They never take a break
Each and everyday
They learn and play a new song
A song that we shall sing
If you where aware of the beauty
That these million drummers make
You wouldn't want to sing
The things we must sing
For every drummer boy
Another life is born
For every few across the world
Another life is torn
Because the differences in the world
Cannot be understand
The drummer boy beats his  drum
Against his friend
Ten drummer boys beating against religion
Another ten beat against the color of skin
Now I don't really like this song
Yet I must sing along
It's my drum against his
Because my government tells fibs
And they taught me to fear
His many differences
Not to learn and embrace
Use destroy and erase 
We drummer boys make beauty
Just not in the way
Us normal people can enjoy
We make beauty
For those who love war
We make music for the sleeping
